Season's Greetings !

As another good year comes to an end, we would like to thank you for your continued support of Dreamlink.Net.
This year has been an outstanding year for us at Dreamlink.Net.

First, Dreamlink turned 10 years old this Sep 2008 and soon thereafter we crossed the 25,000 customers mark.
Apart from that, we have extended our products base to include:

1) PCI Standards ( http://www.pcicomplianceguide.org/merchants-20071022-gaining-pci-compliance.php ) reached on all Dreamlink servers !
There are real security advantages enabled by the development of an IT infrastructure that meets the PCI Standard.

a) Frontpage disabled and replaced with Webdisk (WebDAV)
To accomplish PCI compliance we discontinued the use of mod_frontpage (frontpage support). The module is no longer supported
by Microsoft or any upstream development team and has reached end-of-life. We enabled Webdisk using WebDAV for publishing as it provides
enhanced security and stability and is an actively supported protocol.
You can open your site Webdisk using https://yourdomainname:2078 or https://yourip:2078 and login with your username and password.
WebDAV is available on MAC, Windows and Linux OS.
b) As of now Apache's mod_userdir which allows users to view their sites by entering a tilde (~) and their username as the uri on a specific host,
has been disabled according with the PCI standards. If you need to use the Shared SSL using ~/username please open a ticket support.

2) SSL V3 available (SSL V2 is now disabled)
3) upgraded php (version 5.2.8 with Zend optimizer 3.3.3)
4) ASSP Deluxe antispam updated to 3.1.4 (available on all servers)
5) Rvsitebuilder PRO now provide you over 560 web themes !
6) Alternative smtp port now works on port 46500 instead of port 26 .
7) cPanel 11.24 accelerated available on all servers.

8) Dovecot mail server -- your email, instantly
As of now Dreamlink also includes full support for the mail server Dovecot, which replaced Courier as the standard IMAP/POP3 server .
Compared to Courier, Dovecot offers high performance and relatively little memory usage.
Dovecot, while at idle, uses approximately 70% less memory than Courier. Dovecot also delivers when things get busy, offering a 10% memory reduction over Courier when IMAP has active connections. But the benefits don't end with memory usage. Dovecot also realizes a 25% decrease in disk I/O in as little as 24 hours from upgrade.
